Annie Lora Bowen

Annie Lora Bowen, 79, of Pitts died at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele Friday, December 16, 2005. Born Wednesday, December 15, 1926 in Crisp County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Ausburn and Donnie Williamson Ausburn and the widow of Eldridge Malvin Bowen.

She was a seamstress (RET) with Best Manufacturing Company and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2005 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Cordele.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donnie and Johnny Paramore of Pitts; a son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Eldridge and JoAnne Bowen of Cordele; one sister, Shirley Edge of Jesup; her grandchildren, Stan Paramore of Pitts, Hope Vasko and her husband, Jeff of Warner Robins; great-grandchildren, Chad Paramore of Cordele, Jon Thomas Paramore of Starke, FL, and Sierra Vasko, Zach Vasko and Rachel Vasko, all of Warner Robins. She was preceded in death by her husband Eldridge M. Bowen Sr. and a daughter, Eleanor Lora Bowen.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, December 18, 2005 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. The family may be contacted at the homes of Donnie and Johnny Paramore - 52 Paramore Loop- Pitts or Eldridge and JoAnne Bowen - 410 East 19th Avenue - Cordele.
